Optimizing Your Daily Energy

Learning Objective

It’s not surprising that many infamous workplace accidents like Exxon Valdez, Chernoybal, Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant, and the Challenger Space Shuttle accident have all been associated with workers not having enough sleep or feeling sleepy. And although we are aware of what constitutes a healthy diet, we are often less mindful of its contribution to our energy levels.
 
In this session, we will optimize our energy levels by targeting the four things that impact our ability to stay alert and feel strong throughout the day. They are:
  • Reducing causes of fatigue.
  • ​Creating health sleep behaviours and breathing techniques.
  • Balancing nutrition in our daily food intake.​
  • ​Taking breaks & getting active.
