This program equips executive leaders to defend the need to improve workplace psychological health and safety. They’ll gain a better understanding of the characteristics of a psychologically healthy and safe workplace; and the legal, business, and health imperatives for championing and investing in mental health. Participants will also learn how to support an action plan and receive evidence-based and actionable steps to enhance their own wellness, resilience, and work-life harmony.

Participants will also work to enhance their own emotional intelligence, resilience, and leadership. They’ll gain a deeper understanding of workplace psychological health and safety and the importance of investing in mental health, while also receiving practical tips and strategies for improving their and their team’s overall wellness by demonstrating psychologically safe leadership.

This program offers employees practical skills and strategies for staying mentally healthy and resilient, managing stress, improving communication and interpersonal relations, enhancing work-life harmony, and avoiding burnout. It also aims to destigmatize and provide participants with a deeper understanding of common mental health issues, including their signs and symptoms and how they might impact the workplace. This 5-day, intensive program prepares corporate trainers, instructors and professors to practice psychologically safe instruction. The Psychologically Safe Instruction (PSI) program is interactive and loaded with individual and small group class activities, practices, and confirmation of learning to earn the certificate. This program targets instructors' abilities to advocate for psychological health and safety, model good behaviour, create positive conditions, and support students facing challenges.
