The Canada Job Grant is a program that combines federal and provincial funding to subsidize training for employees of private and non-profit organizations. This grant covers up to a maximum of $10,000 per participant per fiscal year. Small employers (less than 100 employees) who are training and hiring unemployed individuals may be eligible for 100% funding up to $15,000 per trainee.

British Columbia
•B.C. Employer Training Grant
​Receive up to $300,000 for Skills Training. Employers can apply as often as they need and receive 80% of the cost of training and up to $10,000 per employee, with a maximum annual amount per employer of $300,000 per fiscal year (April 1 – March 31).

ALBERTA
•Canada-Alberta Job Grant (CAJG)
Eligible employers are required to contribute a minimum of one-third of the total training costs for existing employees. The Government will contribute two-thirds of the cost to a maximum of $10,000 per trainee per fiscal year. If hiring and training an unemployed Albertan, up to 100% of training costs could be covered, up to $15,000 per trainee.

Individual employers will have a cap of $300,000 for the amount of grant funding they can receive per fiscal year.

SASKATCHEWAN
•Canada-Saskatchewan Job Grant
​Saskatchewan based organizations can receive reimbursement for two-thirds of eligible training costs. Employers can make multiple grant applications to a maximum of $100,000 per fiscal year, and up to $10,000 per individual trainee.

•Canada-Manitoba Job Grant
The Job Grant will contribute up to 75% of eligible training costs for Manitoba based small employers – for those with 100 or fewer employees – and up to 50% for companies with 101 or more employees.

•Canada-Ontario Job Grant (COJG)
Ontario based organizations may be eligible to get funding up to $10,000 per trainee. Employers with 99 or fewer employees must contribute a minimum of 1/6 of the total training costs. Employers with 100 or more employees must contribute a minimum of 1/2 towards the total training costs.
