SueEllen MacGowan is a Psychological Health and Safety (PH&S) Specialist with MyWorkplaceHealth and a Registered Psychotherapist.
SueEllen holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from Royal Roads University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Royal Military College of Canada. SueEllen is passionate about mental health and wellness, and in her past career served over 20 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force in a range of positions that allowed her to develop her skills as a facilitator and advisor, having supported internal and external communications on health and wellness initiatives. SueEllen facilitates workshops and presentations for MyWorkplaceHealth that aim to engage participants in a welcoming space that explores and builds on their collective knowledge of resiliency, mental health, and well-being. SueEllen’s goal is to peak each learner's curiosity on course material in a collaborative way that resonates with their lived experience and provides meaning that aligns with their personal and professional values. When not working, SueEllen enjoys playing and coaching hockey, meditation and spending time with her family and friends. |
