Mission

MyHomesteadHealth provides practical, evidence-informed and nature-guided well-being support for farmers, gardeners, and homesteaders who want to sustain energy, clarity, and resilience through the realities of land-based life - especially in increasingly uncertain times.

​Economic pressure, global instability, weather volatility and rising demands on time and resources have created a constant undercurrent of stress for many of us. When layered onto the physical intensity and seasonal unpredictability of planting, harvest, livestock care and land maintenance, this strain can quietly erode well-being, relationships, and the ability to truly rest and live a values-aligned life.

MyHomesteadHealth supports land stewards in aligning daily routines, personal well-being, relationships, and seasonal rhythms - so that productivity remains sustainable, recovery is built in, and life on the land supports long-term health rather than depletion. We believe that our health - physical, emotional and spiritual - is truly our greatest source of wealth.

Founded by an urban homesteader, permaculture enthusiast, and aspiring small-scale farmer, MyHomesteadHealth blends real-world experience with evidence-based well-being practices drawn from psychological health, occupational sustainability, and nature-based regulation. Learn more about Dr. Joti Samra here.

MyHomesteadHealth services are primarily offered through a flexible, easily accessible remote environment - providing convenient access around demanding work and personal lives. Virtually delivered, video-based services are proven to be effective, and we adhere to the highest standards of digital privacy and security. 

Well-being needs change across seasons and life circumstances - as such the frequency and length of sessions are designed to meet your needs.

Offerings include:
  • Initial intake session to determine needs & establish goals
  • Weekly or biweekly sessions, typically scheduled for 1 hour to provide coaching and ongoing support
  • Periodic check-ins or structured seasonal reviews to allow adjustments to routines, expectations, and recovery strategies

Workshops, Guides & Practical Resources
