Michelle Hunsche, BA
Michelle Hunsche completed her B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology with a Minor in Counselling from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2017. She received the Canadian Psychological Association’s Certificate of Academic Excellence for her Honours Thesis on social cognition in children with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. Michelle is broadly interested in the social-cognitive mechanisms underlying mental health issues, and how a better understanding and treatment of social-cognitive dysfunction might help to improve psychological health and wellness. Michelle will be applying for graduate programs in clinical psychology this fall for intake in Fall 2018.
Michelle has worked with Dr. Joti Samra, R.Psych. & Associates since 2016 across a range of national projects in the area of psychological health and safety in the workplace, including The Evolution of Workplace Mental Health in Canada: Research Report (2007-2017) and the Psychologically Safe Leader Assessment. She has also provided support across a range of other clinical and research projects and activities.
